Kuh, the things you find

Being the old fashioned type I always keep a map in there, bit of a faff to get it and out but never go anywhere without one, old habits die hard

Ditto !
Belt and braces myself  . It’s probably an age related thing.

I have them on mine - extended storage pack option. I stuck my handbook in there (well my German version as my English version is awating me) and found that freed up the glove box....

I read somewhere there is ambient lighting somewhere at the back there too?
Yes, there is and it's quite pleasant.

I’m getting to the point where I’m looking to install the wiring for the ambient lighting at the back, behind the seats (Footwell lights both now fitted and wired, and passenger door card now all done too - just drivers door to go).

Looking at the wiring diagrams it looks like each side has two leds - one which is part of the ambient lighting (warm orange glow when lights are on) and the other seems to operate with the footwell/ puddle lights - I guess it’s a white LED? Is anyone able to confirm this is the case for me please?

Thanks 😊

I'll play, I just found them, big enough for a pack of smokes... long after I quit.
Can see the useless net in the first pic, but what is that white hook thingie on the back panel?
And the thing behind the headrest?

I always thought they were baby seat attachments. Although the chrome one might be coat loop. Must be a hook somewhere.

It appears that my car has "470 Child Seat Isofix Attachment", so you may be correct. Unfortunately it's behind the drivers seat, so unless baby can drive it will never be used!!

Isofix is in the base of the passenger seat. Those things behind the seats look like tie downs to me.

They are tie downs, My car has some pictures of how to use them They are designed to hold luggage in the boot as close to the bulkhead as possible (for weight distribution I suppose?) You have to feed straps through the ski hatch and then attach to these points.

I have just checked and yes there is 2 LED's each side, one white works on entry with the puddle / footwell and one amber where the headlights are switched on - never noticed the white one (reminder turn H/L off occasionally) and the drivers side is not visible as I have the seat right back but defo both there. :D

Excellent, thanks for confirming - I thought it was that way (and assumed the colours) based on the wiring diagrams, but have never seen it in the flesh. This weekend I will knock out a wiring loom to go from under the dashboard to the back behind the seats.

Thanks again
