Z4 3.0 Coupe market watch

Is this the closest to a new E86 that you can buy? It think it’s been for sale for a little while but sets the top end for what an E86 will fetch.

There was a red one on the market last October September time with similar mileage that did finally sell. It was priced at 15k and having made enquiries about the car I’m reasonably confident it sold for that amount.

Bought mine with 25494 miles Dec 2019. I wasn't actually too concerned with mileage as long as it was sub 100k but I was looking for the best car available. There was a HellRot coupe with very similar mileage that I almost bought but I preferred the Stratus Grey & Red Leather. Both cars were from private sellers and much less but Parker's Dealer guide at the time showed similar to above for a Dealer price.

Spotted this on AT with some questionable mods, starting with the splitter that seems to be pulling the bumper down. Check out the panel gap on the bonnet. 20210419_223545.jpg

The now twisted Alu bonnet commands a premium

My god I hadn't seen the video. Feel bad for the guy as he's young and doing his best, but it's a shocking video. It got progressively worse as it went on "I need to get myself one of these" - well guess what, the one you are driving is for sale. Then there are the drive by shots with the bonnet open as has been noted. Then toward the end, he starts thrashing it around in a residential area.

What do people think of the exhaust tip by the way?

WTF. :o

Prices seem to have gone mad in the last year or so! But like everything I suppose it's just down to supply and demand.

Hmmm will it sell for that? Happy for them to pull the market value up.
With M's hitting £600 Road fund licence, will it shake a few out or swing favour to the 3.0?

I don’t see it selling for that, I think the fact it’s an auto would hold it back on its own. I’m sure you are hoping that

Personally I’d not be bothered about the VED and go for the ///M but I’m sure others would be and as you say may swing things in favour of the 3.0. You’d better just keep yours then

As a slight aside, the VED for my M40i is £900 then £500ish I think the following years. I just treat it as a cost of owning the car.

I’m sure Attilio said his ///M was nearly €1900 a year in Ireland
