Everyone seems to love these on the forums? After seeing what they actually are just E46 M-pack gear knobs?

Is it just me or does my standard silver finish gear knob in my 3.0se look better? Is the 3.0 differnt from the other range? But i also notice people on here with 3.0 getting the ZHP?

Maybe it's a taste thing... lol

I actually think the ZHP looks better that the plasticy job that came with my car.
 
LOL.. altho it's plastic.. it doesnt look it..looks very nice i think

Just the ZHP makes everthing to black inside.. ..plus the standard one matchs your steering wheel? Also my dash is brushed alum so its matchs that a bit aswell..
 
I'll go against the crowd and say i agree with the OP. IMO i think the stock chrome one looks better - and i dont even have any silver on my dash (except maybe the climate knobs)

But the ZHP feels so much better - so i left it in.

My steering wheel and dash are the same as yours, and I'd still buy a ZHP given the chance again... :) whether you think it looks better or not, its undoubtably better to hold and slide into gear with a ZHP
 
It Feel's that much better?

I understand a shorter stick makes the throw shorter.. but also more knotchy as less leverage?And the Z4 is a fairly stiff shift aswell.

Hmm £35 isn't too bad migth just try one and see.. pulling the gearknob is the biggest hassle..End up knocking a few teeth up on my last car :P
 
Ive not noticed any notchiness to be honest...

dont forget it is also heavier so not only shortens the throw but less force required :D

just dont do what Ruud_2002 did and broke his screen...

Well yeh it's a sport car? Say compared to my Dad's Passat it's a notchy/sporty throw feel..But very direct and qauilty feeling :P

LOL he actually cracked his screen ? .. Doh!
