zhp question ???

Hi all,

i have just enquired with my local stealer in bristol about the price for a zhp,

he came back with £44.95 which i didnt think was too unreasonable for pn 25117896886

when i asked about if it was available with a 5 speed logo as mine is only a 2.5 he said he wasnt entirely sure but

pn 25117896031 looks the same.

i have had a look on the link below

and if you scroll to the bottom and look at the description for images 5 and 6 they appear to match up. little bit annoying its got an M badge on it, but its not the end of the world.

just wondered if anybody has bought this item under that part number and if they can confirm it is definately a heavy weighted short shift which is exactly the same as the normal zhp just with a 5 speed eblem?

hi that part no is right for the 5 speed one 25117896031 i got one about 2 weeks ago for my 2.5 z4. excellent mod far better than the std one
 
Ordered!!! thanks for your help , 41 + vat as reasonable as your going to get from stealerships i guess.

It is. Although I think I may need to superglue mine on as sometimes it twists a few mill.
 
Can someone post a pic of the ZHP please,and are they easy to fit,for that price it's a mod worth doing.Many thanks :D

very easy... roof down, put into 2nd gear, legs either side of the centre console, pull and be careful you don't hit your face (it's happened to someone on this forum)! then pop the new one in.

for what it is the difference it makes is honestly amazing!

I see from your signature your going to wrap your car in matte black,in durham the other day i passed a Carrera 4S wrapped in matte black and it looked well cool :thumbsup:
Edit, ZHP ordered today and collect on Wed so guess what i'll be dong after work on wed,so everybody standby just in case i encounter any probs :thumbsup:
 
Fitted my ZHP gear knob this afternoon looks and feels so much better than the standard one, not give it a test drive yet but roll on the w/end.Roll on the next mod all black kidney grills are they a dealer part or aftermarket ??
