Is it worth changing Gear knobs to ZHP one? Would appreciate your comments?

BMW Coopers website says £44.95, so the BMW Cotswold seller on eBay is pretty cheap considering they do postage too

I've got to say its the best thing ever! My driving skill is pants and I hated changing gears quickly on the OEM one that seems to go on for miles before it finally reaches the right place (it hated 3rd gear with passion). Now I can change gears without having to think about it....

May be because I got use to the Zed's gear box though.....

But seriously, it also looks sooo much better too - not the horrible plastic silver OEM looks, but more suttle yet elegant ZHP. If only it didn't have ///m logo on it (I hate having ///m logo in non m car!)

I think we can let you off, 3.0Si is about as close as any BMW gets to it's BMW M counterpart...

Better than having M badges on a 2.0 diesel 5 series or something


Very tempted to try one out for that price. Not that I don't like the standard one, but it does look a bit form over function for the type of car... a tad out of place in the rest of the interior
