ZHP Gear Knob?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking at replacing my gear knob, could anyone confirm that I have the correct part number please?

This will fit although shorter and weighted?

THP 25117896886 Has an "M" logo in the middle of the gear change pattern badge.

The reason I have asked is German supplier is querying it will fit as it's not listed as fitted to the Z4.

Just want to double check.

Thanks for any anticipated help.

I'm not sure on the part number but it will also depend on whether you have a 5 or 6 speed box, just check the supplier is giving you the one you need.

I fitted the zhp & found it definitely improved the shift feel and the reduced throw is a good thing :driving:

+1, definitely a worthwhile addition.

You fitted one in your E89 Rob?

That's the part number I have too OP!

The supplier is right in a way as they were never fitted to Z4s for some reason, but some E46s had them - and the 5 Series of that era IIRC.

Just curious (as I keep promising myself one for my Z) - is it cheaper from Germany?

I'm sure people were paying less than £60 for them from sopers? If you ask they seem to give 10% discount :)

The ZHP is an improvement but I found the Storm Motorewerks even better (I've had both). A bit more expensive but excellent quality and heavier.
