ZHP Gear Knob

A quick question - I've just got my new ZHP gear knob and whilst I'm very happy it doesn't seem to fit as tighly onto the shaft as the standard one did.

Is this what other have found? Has anyone done anything to make it a tighter fit?

I guess on the plus side I'll be able to take it off more easily if I change Z's in the future...

Thats odd, mine fitted perfectly. Have you pushed it on all the way?

Yep - it's all the way on, and looks fine. It doesn't feel like its going to come flying off or anything - but it just slipped on rather than me having to push it on with any effort. I can pull it off without any effort too.

Hmm - thanks for replying, thought it didn't seem right.

However - the knob itself looks perfect inside and out (got it straight from LeatherZ.com), may just wrap some tape round the shaft to get it to fit better! As otherwise I'm very happy with it!

try really pushing it on till it sort of clicks into place.

If that does fail the tape should do the job and bulk your shaft up a bit :wink:
