Really fancy fitting this- only issue I have is the normal 5 speed insert (as a 2.2 should have) is dearer than if I went for the m logo'd one. It looks better with the M but as my car ain't an M would this look wrong\make me look like I'm trying to be summit I'm not!? Opinions please?

i know- it's always been a bugbare of mine tho- M badges on non M or sport cars! dont want to look like Mr 316i with an M badge!

I know what you mean, I don't like M logos when it's not an M car but it would depend how big the price difference is. I love the look of the lighted ones for sale here but that would have to have the M logo, in that case I could forgive it. 8)

Anything thats not a geniune BMW part with an M logo, deserves to be burned along with it's owner though. :fuelfire:

I know- this is my prob- dont want to be an imposter but the M loged one looks the best- dont want to buy the 5 speed one and be disappointed (or the other way round!)

i KNEW THIS WAS THE WAY ID GO- HATE M BADGED ON NON M\SPORT CARS! M is somethinf I aspire 2- not cheat to!

You just swap the current clutch delay valve for one that doesn't have anything in the valve. That way there is no delay :)

Thats where I got mine from. Shipped monday arrived thursday :D My local specialist charged £45 to fit and it took just over an hour.

Its instantly noticable! I couldn't understand why I was struggling to get smooth changes and thought it might be the clutch. Once it was changed the gear changes were exactly as they should be! I find it much easier to drive quickly!

it arrived today- gonna fit it over the weekend- pics will follow! seems very weighty and well made! :D

fittes- no black eyes when taking other off- love it and a through recomendation!
Pics soon. :driving:
