ZHP gear knob for my 2003 e85 3.0i manual Z4.

I want to replace my ball type gear knob with a weighted preferably ZHP M sport type. I've contacted BMW who say these don't fit my car. Have other members fitted a ZHP gear knob to there pre facelift e85 3.0i if so could you give me some details and if possible a part number. Failing that what other weighted gear knobs are there available. Would this fit my Z4IMG_5949.PNG. Thank you.
 
Well, it 100% fits the facelift. I'm 99.9% sure it fits pre facelift too. The part number in your picture is the one I have and the one you should order (assuming yours is six speed).

Since the ZHP will fit the pre-facelift I'd definitely recommend it.

I bought one for my 2nd 3.0Si and currently have it on my MC, but I'm thinking of going back to the OE illuminated one that came with the car, just because illuminated. :roll:

So there may be one for sale soon! :lol:

But if you can't wait you might get a better price from Cotswold BMW or Sopers of Lincoln as they give a forum discount.

And we'd love to see some photos of your car.
