ZHP Fitted

Thought id join many of you and upgrade to the ZHP. Got it from my local BMW dealer for £52 picked it up same day. Old one took quite a tug to remove but was easy enough. I think it looks really smart and feels really good when changing gears.

Loads faster !

Feels really nice and as it is a major touch point in the car a definite worthwhile investment. Now it matches the M Sport spec of the rest of the car 8)

Does it feel better changing gear with the zhp? Agree they look much nicer and the m logo looks cool...perhaps should have had one as standard. I need to get one!

Having used it a fair bit today if does make gear changes much smoother. It has a real nice weight to it.

How much shorter/heavier is the zhp compared to the standard one?

I had a Storm Motorwerks one in my E46 and that was much heavier and much shorter and really made a difference in how the gear change felt.

I don't suppose anyone has a picture of the three (or two) next to each other?

I'd say it's about twice the weight of the original and feels much more natural for a sorts car. For the money unpaid I'm more than happy.
