You'll never get this time back guys. Life's too short!

My thoughts too Chris , everytime i hoon past those pedalbikers on country roads huffing it up the hills who shout "w***er" at my tailpipes :P

Wow that went off topic quickly! Standard...

I also find the Zhp over rated, I find the Stormworkz much better because of its weight and being shorter. I don't suffer with cold knob syndrome because my zeds stored in the garage but I can imagine it not being pleasant on a cold morning. :driving:

Hm, I had an alloy gear change knob in my lotus which used to become freezing during the winter months, luckily one of the female members of the seloc forum "batty" offered a knob warming service which helped greatly :P

Yeah the bit of road before we lost you, he was stopped at the left hand side of the road and Mr Lycra felt it necessary to hurl abuse

Lol @ 'Mr Lycra'
Sadly, flares, tanktop and flatcap are a bit impractical for cycling.
Cant imagine cycling on UK roads again after being spoiled with 99% dedicated bike lanes in Holland, notwithstanding sometimes justifiable abuse from motorists.

Hilarious threads - or threads - we must have three different threads in one here!
I really like the look of the standard silvery gearknob in the 3.0 Z an others, always looked good to me.
The difference between the ZHP/Stormwerks and the standard knob must only be an inch or so? I am aware that an inch can make all the difference in some people's view, however  Sticking with the one that came out of the factory for me :driving:

I put the M5 one onto my M and much preferred it.

Still keeping the original one though, so that when its worth £1m in a few years time I can cash in

Zeld4 I dread to think what you use that thing for when its not in the car. For all the good its doing as a gear knob you might as well shove it up your ar*se!!
