Hi all, e85 3.0si auto, a question about the zf 6hp19 has this gearbox, as fitted to my Z, have a temperature sensor fitted? If so which OBD scanner can read the information as my downloaded “car scanner” software does not have the option.

The auto gearbox does have a temperature sensor and will show a transmission fault light on the dash and will probably log a fault code in the ECU, but, you need the correct code reader to to show it, maybe even the full ZF scanner.
In practice any persistent fault your first action should be to change the oil and filter, a workshop or ZF specialist will charge £2-300 filter is integral with the sump they fit a new one.

Thanks for that, just needed to know if I could read temp, with correct scanner, for an atf change.
