Zermatt's Targa 4S

the previous owner even had the loudspeaker covers trimmed in leather by porsche - mind you i now what he does so it would have been seriously small change.

Oooooh i do like that :driving: no sight quite like that of a 4s directly from the rear

A neighbour has one with PSE & i never tire of hearing it crack up from cold around 7-30am , burble a while on the drive then a gentle growl up the cul de sac before it pull's off with a bark  sure you will love it

Chris harris on Drivers Republic is funny about them - he says this is the 911 i shouldn't like with its extra 60 kg in the roof but decides in the end he quite likes it and picks it above the AMV8 Roadster. i thought youd consider it to be the wrong Porker OG .

I started looking for next spring with the idea of a 997 GT4S but this came up and to be honest does not have some of the issues that the GT4S has- the GT3 wheels will be a nightmare to swap to winters .

At some point i will need to say goodbye to the M..... not thinking about that just yet. but i will certainly be staying on here and hope to bring it to the National next year.

Guess I'm in the minority in not liking the poo-brown interior - otherwise very nice, hope you enjoy it

The interior which is marmite will be loved by some and hated by others Perry
And it probably looks better in the flesh - in the photos all I can see is a sea of dark brown....

That Porsche interiors for you they kind of come only in one colour way with the exception of the 50 and the GTS - i wouldnt go for it on a coupe but i think on the targa i will get away with it and it was a bit different.

I looked at Targas before I got my C2S, mostly black interiors so not a chance.....I do like the "Poo Brown" interior , quite tasteful. Won't show the dirty fingerprints like my tan does..

Enjoy... Sport plus when you can

Personally I think the only wrong 911 is the cabriolet. Awful looks and just why would you?!! The Targa is a nice compromise - preserves the structural rigidity and yet allows you some al fresco fun.

The rest, in terms of which 911, is down to the way you want to use it and how often you use it.

That's a lovely looking car and I like that interior too. You like a nice distinctive interior versus exterior contrast on a silver car don't you!

Guilty your honour - started with this along time ago ....

I must admit i thought i would go Black, Guards Red or even White on a GTS but having had a good chat with a few - the GT4S was not going to work for me in the long run, its not the same as a roadster but i wasn't ready to give up the option of at least some fresh air .

I drove a white 911 C4S out of aberdeen the other week - it was like riding a moped - good fun but was glad no one i knew saw me.

Cheers ronk - seems a long departure from my Disco3 days !

Don't laugh, I've still got mine! I can't judtify a new one as it's only done 40k. (Mar 2006)
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be one car for my toy cupboard

going to seem strange to be out of LR ownership after 8 years 7 years of having them - but SWMBO is probably going for a medium size 4x4 as her next car so it did not make sense to have two 4x4s on the drive - i have jumped the gun a bit as she is still deciding on her next car.

Re zermattV
My wife has a 3.0 A4 Quattro (oiler) and wants something a wee bit smaller . 4wd is a must on her list.Do you think I should push my luck for a porka?
