Zedward - A Thank you from Lauren's Mum

So, a quick update on Zedward's activities ... As its the weekend, Zedward was co-opted into the local football team – he didn’t look too impressed at waiting for the changing rooms to open up!

Once inside, Zedward decided to get involved in discussing tactics, definitely a fan of the back 3 formation

Zedward seemed to enjoy a spell in goal, showing some of his silky skills...

… even with good head control!

After a quick shower off (he wasn’t too impressed with that!), …

…it was off to the bar for a quick stint as barman, taking orders

before taking a close interest in the local beers ... (he was confused how a bird fitted into the bottle)

and was very happy with his first (and only) of the day!

……..

Later on, Zedward met a lamppost on the way home, so assistance was needed

But a little patch up, a bit of gas and air …

and he was raring to go again!

Great to see you are back on form again Zedward
- It looks like you've had the perfect weekend, (Football, Beer & caring Nurses !

Well done Mark.

He's taken over the media room now, and settled in for the night. Some Rainbow 6 Siege should help him sleep, right?

(don't forget the purpose all - https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/Zedward2 )

Zed ward is on the move again this time he is in the big city, well Lincoln anyway. After Markeg kindly met up and placed he big guy in my car, Zedward made his presence known and laid down the law on how things where going to be by claiming my recently purchased Dr Pepper.

The smirk said it all when we got home (you can just hear him say "you want this....") :D

So I see how it's going to be, I don't know these celebs just let fame go to their head

The day got better as Zedward decided to hijack my video conference call with colleagues in America, apparently he never seen such magic before.

Funny I received lots of mails from colleagues afterwards saying I looked cute and more cuddly than before. :?

Briliant Photo's  Good to see he's moving again. Don't hog him too long in the SE. Cornwall beckons.

Looking good there, Zedward (apparently he likes being called Zeddie by the ladies, according to my other half, that is...)

SE??? Wash your mouth out, young man, and get the atlas out - we're Midlanders here

Well done Mark and Sharon, great pics.

I really am sorry I said I'd have him then had to pull out, unavoidable unfortunately.

Look forward to his continued adventures.

Well what a day he has had.....

Zedward decided this morning that he wanted to see where I worked at Siemens, and who I am I to refuse. We had a slight issue getting him through the turnstile to start with as he was a little large:

So with the assistance of a few people we managed to help him jump the fence to get. First port of call as any well respected bear knows is the canteen where I got him a coffee before he started work:

However I looked away for a split second and when I turned backed I noticed that he had nicked someone's breakfast:

Once fed and watered we wandered into the office where he was put to work straight away. I mean a soft, cuddly bear should be good at calming panicked customers who's IT is broken, or so you would think:

But again after 10 minutes he got bored of "whining customers" as he put and found great fun with the photocopier near by:

His only complaint was his bum was to big to fit on the copier, so face planting the copier was the only option :o

After the copier incident there was no holding him back, next visit to the finance team to help the ladies de-stress from their year end pressures. Look guys this is how to look cool in accounting:

During conversation he found out that my boss was away in America, so he was curious to see how big and luxurious the top mans office was. We have now had to inform my ex-boss that there is a new bear in town and his name ....... Zedward, Head of Siemens Lincoln IT

In fact I heard Zedward say to himself as he sat there "there is no thing to this job, this is a piece of ...... "

But you know what is amazing? How quick Zedward gets bored, only half a hour had passed before his was itching to get on something with wheels. How on earth could I keep him happy on a manufacturing site? The solution...... what better than a forklift. After a few lessons from a local pro...

....No put your feet there!!

....Look here's the steering!

Zedward was ready and raring to go

Result - one happy bear, one exhausted Z4 owner, and more importantly when I put my contribution in as well, £100 raised for this worthy course.

Well done to all at Siemens Lincoln, you were amazing. Its something to watch as a big bear brings out the inner child in people :D

Donated my Amazon refund for no show of 'bargain' thermal thermometer from China
Anyone else fancy following suit?? - you were all prepared to risk it anyway :D
