Zedward - A Thank you from Lauren's Mum

Well as part of his new exercise and no beer regime Zedward did 40 miles on the bike today. Note how low he gets for minimum wind resistance. Eat your heart out Wiggins!

Dont give him too much of a rest Brian, We need to get him moving on an almost Daily basis, otherwise we'll have to start charging a daily rate for him ! The quicker he moves, the quicker the "Guardian" can pass him on, donate and boost the coffers !

Ideally perhaps people need to start lining up the next person before we get him, so if anyone wants to take him off Brian in Treorchy, South Wales this coming week who can take him North, please shout.

This is the best ever thread. By the time Zedward gets to the south east it's going to be really tough to find new experiences for him.

On serious note (unusual for me!) is there a target date by which he will have toured all of the U.K.? I was just thinking that there must be some approximate date by which we need to have raised the money. I was just getting a bit concerned that he needs to up his pace a bit. At this rate it's not going to be this year that he finishes!

Looking forward to reading of his further adventures.

We can keep raising the money, whilst passing it over in sizable chunks. That way we will know how much the Z4's have raised in total this summer, but Lauren can have some of it earlier if she needs it. Her target of £30k includes the operation but also additional costs for the follow up treatment & aftercare.

Is anyone in the Mid-Wales area, Hereford, Worcs, Shropshire, Midlands area that can take him next, alternatively is anyone heading North on business that can just zoom him up to the Yorks/Lancs area, where I suspect he will move a little more rapidly with more people in closer proximity ?

Zedward can do anything,he can be a postman, milkman, lollipop man, fireman etc what I've found is if you approach people with a smile and some cheeky banter tell them the charity story part and you could probably take photos of him anywhere. It really is that simple, and being a big cuddly bear most people love him. :)

Went out on motorbike today and as its a single seater Zedward couldn't come along which made him rather glum, so to cheer him up I took him up Fairwood airfield café for a hearty breakfast. Now he's telling me that he wants to join the Red Arrows !!

Now come on Goon, Exactly how much ransom are you demanding before you are prepared to release him ?

Goon has agreed to release zedward after I paid the ransom! So he will spend a couple of days with me now I hope he doesn't get bored
after what he's been through with goon! OK number5 I wont retain him too long so we can keep him on the move, let me know who and where he will be off to next?

Ive no idea Brian, I'm hoping that someone will contact you and offer to meet you half way somewhere.

If you're stuck though, I'm in Swansea Friday & Saturday and can bring him back to civilisation on teh way home, then send him up the M5 North.

Please post below if anyone is in the vacinity to pick him up from Bristol, Gwent, Gloucs area and head him North, even perhaps to Si-Forks in Worcs ?
