I'm curious, not always a good thing...
Two things have happened with Zedna that I'd never noticed before.
1) I've recently installed Philips LED sidelights and they look great although I can't work out if it's them or my not working fog lights that are giving me a bulb warning on the dash board, (fog light bulbs are fine I can hear the relay activate) but what Ivey now noticed is that when I get out the car after a night drive, the sidelights stay on. They do eventually switch off but my previous halogen bulbs didn't do this.
2) For long enough, the clown nose on Zedna didn't work, I've also noticed that the auto dimming rear view mirror didn't work so I thought the mirror was on it's way out however, the past few nights after late drives home Ive noticed the clown nose doing it's thing.
. Auto dimmwr still doesn't work.
Zedna is on a long, slow road to recovery - are these new developments just down to further high usage of the car? I'm also going to be checking over the various 12v bits as I go along.
New Elring rocker gasket set arrived yesterday, that's actually a job for next week before another 600 miles week. Zedna also passed her 100,000 birthday! That's about 2000 miles (and a litre of oil) since her MoT around mid-May! Plenty still to do!
