Hi, will you put me on the list for this. I am new on here (well, about 2 months ago just not got round to introducing myself)but have been on z.org site for years.

Just a small tent with me and probably my son.

Oi, you can't sneak in under the radar like that, we need a proper intro with photos of your ride

Calm down John you'll scare him off, it's taken him a while to make the leap to the more superior forum lets ease him in gently

Welcome along wildeboy, there is a certain etiquette to follow round here but I'm sure you will address this in good time

Stuart

Yes, yes, I know all about the etiquette, that's why it has taken me so long to ask to be put on the list. I thought if I wait until I get round to posting the intro I would never get a place at ZEDfest!

Well you will be pleased to know I have done it, the intro post is on the newbies forum with the mandatory photos. Am I allowed to come now or is there some secret initiation ceremony with stubby aerials I don't know about??

We will be cutting short our holiday so will now be there. Has anyone stayed in the Link hotel or could recommend another hotel close by. Not into camping

The link is nice John or Burley Court hotel and spa about 100yds further on , on the university campus. I've stayed in both with work and would happily pay my own money to stay there.

Stuart

Cheers Stuart, I have just booked the Link and got it for £45 for a double room.

Me too. I'm at The Link Hotel for £45 on the Sat eve.

I went to the BMW day at Gaydon last year and wasn't very happy with the layout, parking 1/4 mile away, then walking along a dodgy footpath. The large disabled carpark right next to the venue was almost empty??
There were some very nice cars, but I thought it was quite disjointed for a major BMW event.
This is my 1st time to Zfest, but as I own and drive a Z and having been on a couple of meets and drive out, I have so far found fellow owners to be a nice bunch of people. :)
It all depends what you want to do on that day
