ZEDfest largest gathering of Z'ed in the UK 14-08-16

Layout looks pretty good to me. Thanks Ian. Just one question: where do the happy campers stay? Is there a procedure to follow (apart from putting the tent up... )? Please don't say the hard shoulder of the M1...
Cheers

Right then Chaps I have a dilemma. My mate was coming along with me to this event this year in his E89 and is on the list of entries BUT !!
He has now gone and sold the Z and bought a (cough) new Porsche Boxter S but would still like to attend
My question to you Neil is...... Is there anywhere for him to park and still attend ??
I've told him he can park in the next village and walk in holding his head in shame hahaha.

Any thoughts ?? :?

yes he can attend as im sure we will get a few other makes on display that day.

Sorry guys not attended before so need some help on the drill & timings etc.

What time do I need to arrive please? and where do I set up camp in relation to the parking / display areas? as will need to drop all off from car before I assume moving to the display area?

Cheers.

I will sort out a plan showing camping area soon but it all depends on weather, the likely hood is you will be camping on the large field and must pack up tents before show starts so we can get all cars in place.

Show starts at 11.30am on the sunday so cars arriving on the day i would like to be in position for around 11am. Anyone camping the night before as this is my home and your camping in my back garden!!! i would say late afternoon / early evening is fine to arrive. But will confirm on first thread soon.

Well it's a great event and loads going:)
My only question as camping (unless weather says otherwise)
Are their washing facilities?

Marc

Hi,

Could you add me too?
You've already got my better half (Gail although its an E89 Z4 not a Z3).

Am also talking to a mobile paintless dent removal guy at the moment but he's based down home counties way. Would you be interested in inviting him if there's sufficient interest from visitors to get a few dings removed? Just a thought.

Cheers

happy to invite mobile paintless dent removal if enough interest.

I'd have thought it would be an ideal pitch for a PDR van, and a mobile SMART repairer come to that...
