ZedFest heading up from SW?

Looks like I'm picking up my copilot at the Peartree area. What sort of time are you guys planning on passing? We could meet there or the BP garage on the A34 between there and the M40. The coffee there is quite good

I have no idea, will leave it to Reevsie...having the car detailed this week, just hoping the weather holds out!!!

Stuart - I suggest we meet at the BP garage (Littlechef/Happy Eater) between Peartree and M40 - we are leaving Chieveley Services at 8am latest, so should be with you approx 8.30am.

So I have the confirmed list as follows:-

1. Jonnyfive ( chieveley services) Grey E85
2. Reevsie (Winchester then Chieveley Services) White E89
3. ZedFourM (Winchester then Chieveley Services) Blue E85M
4. Bardot (Bath then Chieveley Services) Blue E85
5. Luke111s (Bath then Chieveley Services) Blue E86
6. indez4cpe (Chieveley Services) Silver Grey E86
7. Stark (Winchester then Chieveley Services) TBC
8. Stuart Trueman (BP garage North of Oxford) Alpina Roadster S

See you all Sat - let's just keep everything crossed for decent weather

Google gives a time of 1hr 0min for the trip from the Bath meeting point to Chieveley services. So I suggest meeting from 6:30 departing 6:45ish in order to tie in with Reevsies suggested meeting time of 7:45. Any thoughts?
Hopefully some of that mud at Silverstone will have dried up by the time we arrive.

Anyone else interested in joining us is more than welcome.

Sounds good to me

Ok guys i have just checked the travel time from chievely to silverstone on the AA web site and its coming up a good hour +, with all the resent weather and the numbers attending do you think we are leaving it a bit late to leave ,i would hate to miss the in by 9.30 especially if we are meeting people on the way. I would prefer to leave as early as possible, i know a few of you guys have got to travel a lot further which means a even early start but what do you think?

Google agrees with Jonnyfives times. Giving 1.25 hours. Weather forcast for Saturday is looking good however. Perhaps we should reduce all times by 15 mins. If people are at there meeting points earler so much the better. What are the rest of you guys thinking ? :driving:

I was thinking of being at the BP/Little Chef on the A34 at 8:30. That should get us to the circuit at around 9:05. Does that work for everyone?

I'm happy to start at Winnall Shell (Winchester) at 07:00 instead of 07:15. I'd rather be a few minutes early than get to Silverstone late.

(I'm out at 06:30 during the week, so it will still feel like a lie-in to me :) )

I was going to be there for 7 am anyways

I'm also a bit lost regarding timings, but as far as I can work out from the various posting this is the revised plan:

Leave Bath at 06:45
Leave Winchester (Winnall) at 07:00
Leave Chieveley Services at 07:45
Leave BP garage (Little Chef/Happy Eater) on A34 between Peartree and M40 at 08:30
Arrive Silverstone by 09:05

Please feel free to make any corrections.

ZedfourM i think you have it spot on but bring all the times back 15mins

Leaving times;

Bath 6.30
Winchester 6,45
Chievely 7.30
BP garage 8.15
Silverstone ASAP

It takes a hour and 15 from Chieveley to Silverstone so allowing for Traffic , weather and forgetting to set the alarm.

If everyone arrives at there setting off places in good time than we should all be good.

Evening all, apologies for the lack of communication, currently away on business in Edinburgh and just checked the forum.

Having just done the exact same route on Tuesday in rush hour, and barring any hold ups, the timings are conservative, but agree would rather be early than late.

So 7.00am departure from Winchester is good for me.

I am sure we can pick up time as we go, if we don't have to many coffees!

As Eric and Ernie famously said 'Bring me Sunshine........'

Unfortunately due to circumstances I cannot make it tomorrow, I'm gutted :( :( :(

I hope you all have a great time, it looks like the weather should hold up for you!

Bardot - Let me know if you read this to avoid you waiting for me; if no reply I will head to the meet point.

OK, pulled in time with co-pilot. Picking him up from Burford at 7:45, that should get me to the BP services on the A34 before 8:15. I may well be inside procuring coffee and pastries!

Stark has my mobile number if needed (I think)

Read your post Luke. Sorry you can't make it. Maybe meet up another time! :(

So just to confirm Bath point is scubbed. So any other members thinking of joining up but not listed should head for Chievely Services. I will see you all at Chievely. (extra kip will be nice) :driving:
