Yep I'll be on the dreaded A34 too.. although at that time of day it shouldn't be too bad...... famous last words!!..maybe meet up at Tot Hill Services?....or if you know a better place let me know?...not a massive fan of travelling "in convoy" because we all drive a bit differently but happy to try to cruise along together as far as we can :thumbsup:

We all want a little blast every now and then so no fuss about convoy.
Was looking to find out who we likely to see on the way up :driving:
 
We will be going up the M40 past the end of the A34, then on past Silverstone on Saturday afternoon. Could meet up for a convey.
There are a load of us staying at the Link Hotel and having a meal there on Saturday night.
You can put your name down for the meal if you like and meet a few members before the Zedfest :)

Hey Greg, I'm a Hampshire newbie too so if you fancy driving up on a similar timetable :driving: then would be up for that. I'm in Lymington so just about as far away from the venue as it's possible to get in Hampshire!

I’m also in Hampshire, negotiations are underway to get the Mrs there (she’ll be 8 months pregnant but I’m hopeful she loves Zeds!) if I win the argument we should drive up together. I’m near Winchester.

Hiya peeps, Might have to pull out of this :( , was going out today for Dinner B&B, with Julie, at 80 Mph overtaking, loud rumble, Engine lights comes on and stays on, Rumble through all gears, Yep I am sure blown cylinders at least Two, So engine rebuild required Iam

Very unusual to damage an m54 engine, do you know the condition of the disa valve as worn ones have been known to get ingested by the engine? :?
I’d get a compression test carried out before opening the engine up.
