I caught up with Pastry :D but didn't meet you?

Shhhhhhhhhhhh, lets get him banned, never known someone so jealous of my dashboard
I saw you going out in your car Collin, you looked over, our eyes met an we waved :)

I would happily pay upfront. Had a great day talking cars and meeting people although i cant remember names. Got my exhaust done, judged the better exhaust note between two 89s. Had coffee and cake. Learnt a bit about black smithing. Then drove home a thoroughly happy chappy. Those that didnt go ya missed a good day and those that did see ya all next year

Somehow I didn't manage to meet any of you forum regulars yesterday, though I did see Smartbear's car - it was hard to miss. I suppose I'm rubbish at walking up and introducing myself to people!

I still had a good time - maybe I should make it out to other meets and join a convoy up there next year.

Somebody said there was a mill there :?

Should have left the car park I guess. Spent too long talking. My briefest encounter was pastry who I met as we were leaving.

Nice to meet John-E89, Daz (at last) and quiet a few other new faces, but sooo many I didn't see :(

Roll on next year.

Simple next year will be ticketed so if you don't turn up we won't be out of pocket as much as the last 2 years. I enjoyed the event but disappointed with approx 50 cars not turning up and as we were tight on space I had to limit it and others could of come. For the last 2 years we have had a list of approx 200 cars and only 140-150 cars turn up. We have to plan food mainly for if all attend so we were left with lots of spare which costs us. I'm happy to host the event but if you can't make it then say so. The event is posted up early enough so to make sure we give enough notice.
We want as make people to enjoy the event

That's disappointing, especially as you provide such a great venue - the only other option would be to take a deposit when people book so that costs get covered.

I'll confess to not having been yet, but after seeing the photos this year I realised I really must attend next year!

Great to meet up with forum members some not seen for far too long (looking great there Bing  ). Beautiful venue - what a home and what a fabulous job refurbishing and developing the Mill - brilliant. Talking all day, lots to see and the weather on side - loved it!
Thanks to all involved for a wonderful day . . .
Had no idea how many Imola Ms there were - couldn't turn around without falling over one - and I missed Marlon - how?! :o
Now, have to get on eBay and do a bit of research on machine polishers - if I can build a bit of experience on the Skoda! Thanks lynchy :D
Lots of Ms and helpful owners, lots more to see and talk about - magic

Saw your car parked down a local lane, I think you saw me waving as we passed
Rob

I was only 8 miles away from relatives not seen for a long time at Hoton, so had to call - called at my sister and then my mums on the way back north at Doncaster as well. Got home at midnight - a long but very enjoyable day
