The one and only time I have been to Weston a Spitfire (the noise makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up) flew over the town and out over the beach where it gave an impromtu air display, if you can arrange that for that to happen again, why not.

No everything is around London :thumbsdown: Let all go to a different part of the country to show the people "Around London " that there is somewhere better north of Watford Gap and we don,t all wear flat caps.

The Location/Venue,etc is still to be decided,which the guys from the BMW carclub wil be doing between now and then.....
i will post more info as soon as i know,but it should be good,as they are hoping to get zeds from uk and europe,plus they are getting support from ppl like us,on the z4-forum,and zroadster.net,etc...so plenty of like-minded ppl. Just as long as they dont make the date the same as we end up arranging for the Natnl Lakes & Dales meet (that would be a bugr).
 
UPDATE....info from the Sept issue of BMW Carclub mag,says they are doing this as part of the clubs 60th Birthday celebrations,and they are looking at Silverstone for this event,possibly during the Silverstone Classic event,to include a full formation lap(all 500 zeds),round the f1 circuit :D :driving:
