Zed meet ups this year????

While on the topic of it, has anyone shipped their z/zed to other countries for meets? For our 10 year we're thinking of either going to the UK again, or Australia, or New Zealand, and I was thinking a meet along the way at the same time would be stellar.

How much would that cost you, and how long would it take, to Europe ? That's a pretty cool idea, but sounds pricey !

Sounds a great idea but as Mr B says it could be pricey
. why not cost up the transport of your Z here & back , then let us know how much . if its a crazy figure you may be better "borrowing for a fee" a forum Z who was maybe planning to sell anyhow

Just at a glance (just submitted to get real quote) 750 for "compact" to 4k for full size SUV from looks of it one way. When we were there in 04 my wife thinks for the focus it was close to 3k for hertz for renting for 4 weeks. Also being lh drive anyone know if there's a law saying can't be driven there? I remember seeing an 80s trans am while there but being a classic era wasn't sure if there was a stipulation somewhere. By boat looks like 2-3 weeks transit time.

Edit: for those interested one way actual quote $1,683 one way so not too far off from renting the focus we had in 04, something I think we'll consider.

You'd be the furthest traveller for a meet

But lhd is across Europe too, so just UK and Ireland are RHD.

Theres likeley to be lotes of meets Jonny. Rach and I quite fancy bringing back to life NickM's very early morning central London meet when the weather improves a little.

An Ace cafe meet one weekend would get my vote, it's still on my wish list

Sounds like a plan....I need to book the date in with them early. I'll call them today and see what dates are free
