Today I took my front bumper cover off so I can take it to the body shop on Monday for a good sanding and painting.

While it is off, I took the lights out and gave them a good polishing to remove some of the embedded contamination and remove some of the normal road damage.

One thing I noticed it the air ducting on the car. It seems VERY restrictive.

After all the talk over the last month or so about the Ram Air Scoop for the ///M's, this got me thinking. Why not just, as an interim solution, just take off the bell shroud on the duct????

Not sure but it seems that this could flow more air....

That is why I removed mine. There was a thread on this on the old Z4um some time back.

Probably because it doesn't fit pre-facelifted Z4's.
