Some may be aware i listed my coupe for sale a month ago :( nothing wrong with the car & certainly not fallen out with it but in life there's always another page to turn & having a weekend extravagance in the garage doing under 2k a year is not part of the next chapter :?
The 30 day listing ended earlier with 2327 page views,62 watchers & 6 offers ( 1 was tempting & i should possibly have taken it ? ) also had countless mindless,witless idiots with a brain capacity on a par with a mountain goat :cry:
So on my return from euro jaunt i will list the family tourer leaving mrs w to daily drive the Z :roll: certainly not ideal but lets see what gives :wink:
 
Good and bad news in one I guess. Surprised it didn't sell at that price :-| glad you're keeping her though, just make sure Mrs W keeps those nice shoes away from kerbs and potted roads :grin:

Yeah , even worse the current shoes are being replaced shortly with a newly refurbed set of 108's in 2 tone - silver rim /black stars

So possibly a set of 224,s on offer soon :wink: undecided whether to refurb them first though or to sell with or without rubber ?

I think im gonna stick CSL's on my coupe,so i will be selling my minty 224's with matching Conti sport contacts on.....Give you a bit of competition.. :poke:
 
Surely they'll get snapped up? Are they the spare winter set you had ... And not the newly powder coated set? Or am I getting mixed up with the wheels on the tourer ... Hmm.

Two tone 108s sound interesting, new member came along recently didn't they with some on a silver roadster?

No the 108's came to me shabby , got them split last week & will have them powder coated mid june .
plan is to use them while i get the 224s sorted with winter rubber which i have been collecting :wink: back of my garage looks like ATS right now

Lot of interest coming from opposite ends of the country & some buyers aren't willing to travel ?
£8500 was top offer which i could have taken but the guy would not go the extra £150 i wanted & i'm just not that desperate to move it :wink:

Whats the price on your 224's ? let's get the show started :thumbsup:

Your the 224 meister when it comes to buying/selling them....

Mine are very tidy with good (5mm+) premium rubber on..........Thoughts?
 
Personally I think it's fate. You just weren't destined to leave. Maybe you should get out one weekend and put a few more miles on it. I'm back to driving mine daily so look out for me ;)

Very tidy as in "no lacquer peel or kerbing with decent branded rubber" i would say around £600 ballpark with 10% up or down ?
Mine are in " ok "fettle with 2 brand new Vreds on front but rear Vreds down to 3mm so see them under £500 ? again give or take 10% :wink:
Now if i refurb them & pop some quality rubber on rears then i would want £600 minimum ?
as ever , worth whatever someone is prepared to pay

I like the faith idea Ruth 8) big believer in things working out for the best if you let them go .
I love the car & whenever it does go will be a massive wrench on a par with selling my 964 3 years ago which i have regretted almost daily .
I never tire of its looks,features or the way it drives :thumbsup:
 
No flaky paint or kerbing at all,they are in superb order......

I think £700 of offers considering the Conti's would cost more than that new...
 
I agree Gary , 4 matching Contis/good tread & mint wheels a £700 ask is not stiffing anybody 8)

I have some CS wheels lined up..

Not sure if they will need a spacer on the front being 1/2 narrower though..

Will try and see how they sit..
