Zak R.I.P.

It's never nice losing a pet that's been with you for a long time. Our Lab x was with us for 16 years and was a great companion.
 
Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts and support - it is much appreciated and has helped us cope at this really sad time.
 
So sorry Rick, I love my Shepherd, so cant imagine how you must feel.
He was obvviously well loved which is all he could ask for.
 
It doesn't matter if they are two legged or four (for some even eight), losing something much loved is always hard, sorry for your loss
 
Sorry for your loss, no matter what pet you have they become part of the family. Zak looks like he was really happy and loved, time will help heal but he will never be forgotten. We lost our GSD about 10 years ago and whilst we don't have kids, losing her was like losing a family member but we still talk about her with fond memories.
