Z4SR Wide Arch Kit!

Hi all.............

Just wondered if any of you guys seen this Z4SR with the wide kit on and what your thoughts are.
I was wondering does anyone know if the Kit is for sale anywhere or is it a one off and cant be bought?
Also if easier, does anyone know the measurement of the arch extensions, they look around 4" to me?

Not keen. Maybe if they were blended in a bit more rather than looking like they've just been stuck on, but even then I doubt it...
 
I'm with the others-doesn't appeal to me personally and they've taken out the Z on the side. If you do that kind of thing, though, remember you'll need the wider wheels to fill out that arch or it will look terrible.
 
Part of the sculpting on that looks like the aero side-skirts... now they look the mutts-nuts, but he big wheel arches...no way, they should be illegal on the grounds of taste!
 
I'm all for customization, but the only thing I like on that is the giant red Brembo's. I instantly thought Mazda when I saw it, so it's funny that mmm-five posted that comparo. The work itself looks impressive, but the outcome makes the car appear much less appealing...like a Mazda. :lol:
 
Great if you need to enter the DTM, German Touring car championship, but not for a road going car :thumbsdown:

The problem with a widebody kit on a Z4 is that the Z4 is already so short and a widebody kit makes it look even shorter and bulkier.
 
The car just doesn't need it.

Just one lok at the Z4M tell you that the shape itself can look as aggressive as it needs to with only minor tweaking. Yes I do get that people like to be individual, I just prefer a car to look 'right' - and if there're other people with the same looking car, well that doesn't bother me! Mind you, I am a little obsessed with cars looking 'standard' - i.e. like the factory would have done it (even if it isn't actually standard) - I'm probably not making much sense, so I'll stop typing now!
