Hi all.
Reluctantly I am selling my Z4 .It is a 60 plate (October 2010) with only 27700 miles. I bought it from Williams Manchester in June 2011 with 1696 miles on the clock. The additional equipment is as follows:
Auto transmission M Sport leather steering wheel
Bluetooth phone prep and telematics
BMW Assist
Heated sports seats
Electric folding mirrors
Connectivity pack
Cruise control
Parking sensors front and rear
Navigation pack
Seat Heating
Sports Auto transmission.
2 sets of keys

It has a full service history with BMW and BMW approved dealers. I have all the paperwork.
This is our third car and it only goes to the golf club and back a return journey of 8 miles; hence the v low mileage. The only issue has been 2 new batteries because of lack of use
I would be looking for £11,500 .
Thanks for reading.

Also it would be useful to list the reg number, the first thing anyone here will do is look up the MOT history and VIN details etc

Rare find a 3.0i Msport with sub 30k , nice spec too but those front tyres look ready for a change .

Can you please post
service history (where,date,miles)
approx tyre depths
Condition of bodywork
Is the car normally garaged
Have the brake disks/pads been replaced
Thanks

The OP replied to my PM a couple of days ago - the car is SOLD.
Looks like forum rules don't apply here - shame as there are 2 people above in the thread who are also interested :!:

Not sure what you are getting at - but unless I am mistaken you seem to be accusing me of something, which naturally I resent. :x

Yes some forum members were interested, me among them you’ll note I was the first to respond to the advert - I PM’d at the same time.

The only response I had from the seller a day or so later was to apologise and to tell me the car was sold. I have no idea when, how, and to whom.

The seller was a newbie, seemingly joined the forum just to sell his car. We hadn’t seen him before, my guess is it’s unlikely he’ll be back to mark the advert as closed, so I just wanted to let other potential purchasers know they’d be wasting their time enquiring.

Just a thought and don't know if its possible but might be an idea to setup a vehicle sellers template asking for the details of the most common queries that potential purchasers always have could save the seller and potential purchasers time.

Not a bad idea that, it’s true that as soon as a car goes up for sale many of the same questions are asked. Also I wonder if there should a more onerous qualification period for selling on the forum, rather than allowing people to join with the sole intention of selling a car, potentially for free.

A couple of suggestions:

I) Maybe between 1-3 months qualification period, with XX number of posts in the meantime.

ii) Approach (i) May lead to aficionados on here missing out on some good cars, hence maybe newbies could be allowed to advertise and pay a fee, which can go toward the upkeep of the forum. If you are selling a Zed then say £25 (Just a suggestion) for selling to a dedicated Z4 forum is a bargain.

To be fair to the seller I messaged him and he replied almost immediately, saying he had accepted an offer and taken a deposit. Car being picked up on Tuesday. If it falls through he'll let me know.
Until he's standing there with the money in his account and the new owner driving away I wouldn't consider it sold myself.

I don't have a problem with a seller joining the forum to sell his car to an enthusiast, it seems pretty logical to me really. Might be an idea to have small fee to pay though for new members though, I don't disagree with that.

FWIW he also advertised it on Pistonheads at the same time and he didn't say where his buyer came from.

Apologies Super T . The situation is exactly as Steve has said ; I have taken a deposit and am due to sell on Tuesday. I have been away from my computer all day so not able to reply. If the sale goes through I will post a sold message as I don't want to waste anybody's time.

Looks like its now for sale at a dealer at £14,600!
