Z4MR Sprog, just joined, now with pix

Evening everybody, I've been lurking on the forum for a while now and having bought a 07 Z4MR last saturday thought it best
to join and introduce myself. My name is Dan and I originally come from deepest darkest Cornwall, now living in North Wales. Last Saturday I took charge of my 2007 Z4M Roadster in Silver, 17,148K on the clock and a few extras, ( sat Nav, heated seats, Bluetooth, wind deflector)
What can i say.......Jeeze what a car, I was a little sad to see my much loved 330CI e46 coupe go at 09:30 last saturday, but after 2 minutes behind the wheel
of the Z4 all of my sorrow faded. :D

Had a few issues with the bluetooth setup but I've managed to get my Nokia 5800 working in a basic form, of which I understand is a real problem with the newish Nokia phones.

I got rid of a 330ci to go to a Z4M (via a Boxster). I really missed the 330 at first but that soon passes :)
 
Thanks for the welcome everybody, yeah the 330CI coupe is a great car, I had her for 4 years and its been the most reliable motor I've had.
Did 128k and only had to have the disks and pads changed once, some front suspension bushes replaced at 114k and the odd tyre or two.
I'll get some pix of the Z4M up at the weekend once I get back home, ( currently working away in Hatfield during the week and only get back at the weekends). Looking forward to the weekend so that the wife and I can get out on the Welsh roads for a few hours of fun in the Zed 4

Very nice - titanium silver's a good color on the roadster. Folks will be chiming in about the antenna any minute now... ;)
 
Good looking car & colour ! now about the antenna/aerial. you need to get yourself a stubby, i got mine from the states approx £10 all in.

Mangowalk stubby 3" is the version i got, do a search and im sure it will turn up the results.

It was already done, thought it was standard on all Z4's?




Point taken with the antenna, just ordered a 3" stubby from evilbay :D

I believe so. My car came with a color-matched license plate mount when new. I've never used it, no idea where it is, but I remember being surprised at that when I picked up the car.

Standard is black plastic
