Z4MR replaced By a Caterham Superlight R400

Your new purchase looks fantastic. My son has a Tiger 16 which prior to Covid he enjoyed it ,but since he acquired his Bmw m4 the Tiger is in his garage and due to be sold.
Hope you enjoy your Caterham.

I fear your speedo is faulty. Mine went awol a while ago and registered 534mph in a cul de sac!

And you've managed to break the steering wheel already. ;)

Lovely, I hope you enjoy it.

I had a passenger ride around Donington in a Caterham once and it was laugh out loud fast, but they're a bit too raw to appeal to me for road use.

You, with the laugh out loud, screaming banshee that is the Z4M and you say the Caterham is a bit raw? đŸ¤£
It is, at my age I like to have a roof, windows, A/C and a stereo I can hear on long boring Motorway drives!

And TBF I wouldn't fancy driving a Caterham on a Motorway anyway.

I had to on the way home M25 M40 and M1 only short bits
Not too bad as long as you concentrate and think that everyone else is trying to kill you it's fine bit like riding a bike pedal or motor

I tried to avoid Motorways when I had motorbikes too for the same reason, but at least if everything came to a halt you could filter on them rather than sit at the back of the queue with your eyes glued on the mirrors!

But then I imagine your drive home was a one-off as I doubt you plan to use it on Motorways.

At least in the Manchester area you have plenty of Motorways to choose from!

In Surrey we only have two in the whole county, the M3 and a bit of M25 which are both miserable. I have to go a long way to avoid clogged up misery. :(

Enjoy getting out a bit.

Super cool car, I hope you enjoy it!

I'll building building a Lotus 7 rep soon and want to put a 200bhp Duratec in it. It'll sit along side my Z4C as I just want to use it for fun weekend drives and track days.

I had a Westfield with a ford Duratec producing 255BHP and weighed in at 550Kg's and a sequential dog box
The Caterham Duarte's where too much money for me as they are younger cars so a K series it is...
