For sure the dealer made enough money on my car and the previous owner told me he incurred a big loss on it , not to mention the premium he paid for his replacement car at the other end ,as there was no negotiation due to the px deal he did .Thats why dealers often go on winter holidays to St Lucia . I only bought mine from a dealer because I couldn't find a nice example locally from a private seller ,and because I am not prepared to waste my valuable time and energy travelling only to be disappointed . I once used a third party to source me a TVR to whom I paid a flat rate finders fee .He inspected the car and negotiated on my behalf to save me the hassle .Turned out the car be bought ended up costing me a lot of money but that's TVRs for you I guess . The one dealer I would recommend without reservation was Goowoood Sports cars from whom I bought two Mazda Eunos , just a top bloke who is totally OCD about describing and preparing his cars and really cares about the after sales service he provides .Unfortunately in my experience he's an outlier as a dealer in that regard . There are more sharks out there than Dolphins in the trade .
