Z4MR @ James Paul

When you confront a dealer with the hard facts wrt what he bought the car in for ,then he can either admit he's being plain greedy or do the deal at a fair price where he's still making money on it . I find it hard to believe any dealer will pay much more than book for any car taken in as px and then you have factor in the money he also made on the other car he was selling .So it's a win win for the dealer at both ends . It sounds that this dealer is being greedy but that's the nature of then species in general .

All car dealers are like it as you say, this dealer is no different from any other and there price is no better or worse.

I bought my MR from James Paul. Absolute top notch outfit to deal with. Quick in communications and answered all my questions with no BS thrown into the mix. They picked me up from Heathrow and took good care of me and the missus. I paid not much more than what they are asking for that MR. Although mine is a 2007, Imola, pretty much top spec, FSH (all BMW & 1 Indy) and it only had 30k on the clock. So either I got a good deal, they are asking too much or prices really are on the up. Will be interesting to see what/if it sells for.

Hi

it may have already been mentioned, but does it look like both headlights along the bottom have misted up

Was watching prices for 3 months, starting to rise again after the Christmas drop.

Precisely what I was hoping to see, having bought at the start of Winter weather. Without touching mine, I'd have hoped to have "made" £500-1000.

Why do you think that prices are going up now in January since its still cold and miserable with snow and ice .I would have thought prices and demand would stay suppressed until April or May time when the weather improves and the man mood starts to lift .
