Z4MR - Interlagos Blue

A mate spotted my old car for sale on Autotrader! :)

Good luck with the sale Matt, was certainly a minter when I sold it to you at the beginning of last year and looks like it still is  Hope you've had lots of fun in it!

Thanks; it's being a pleasure. If enjoyed a week long tour of the Alps and didn't skip a beat.

I'd argue it's better now... mainly cos I love it on the E92 M3 rims.

Ah I did wonder if this was your old one, fella - looks superb.

Price drop, £14,250...

You're heading into the zone for a buyer now imo ( though i would sell the spare wheels separate & lower price accordingly )
Not trying to talk prices down or up , i have a virtually identical machine in year / spec / miles / aeros & without being arsey would be looking around £13k after negotiations if selling right now :(
Folks can comment all they like but if no one sees the car at your worth then its not gonna sell it which is fine if its a half hearted sale but if it isn't then at some point you have to reach a figure that pleases 2 parties
Best of luck , it does look a fine example

Do you think so, Andy? What's "letting it down" so to speak? Mileage? Modified with the wheels, perhaps? Again, interested as I have a similar machine.

I don't think anything let's it down , it looks a corker but in reality the market has barely shifted in 3 years & a 75k/80k MR with good spec & history will struggle to achieve more than £14k as a private sale ( jmo)
I'm just being realistic that if I wanted to sell my own very similar example then it would be up at £13450 to accept £13k ?
If I started at £14450 imo I'd be waiting a long while for the phone to ring

Input is all welcome, I'm looking to sell. Only after a fair price for me and the buyer and open to negotiations. I'm not fixed on price. I tried pricing it based on what I'd seen online. It's a difficult thing to gauge. Location seems to be playing a part too...

Not sure if it's helpful, but all info and that... I was offered £12,500 by a "specialist" trader while looking at TVRs. That's for mine on 10k less mileage, same upkeep (brakes and suspension) but fewer options.

My comments were not meant to hinder the sale btw & happy to remove any if you like , they more intended as encouragement that the new price is well in the ballpark for attention & a sale .
Ultimately these cars are weekend treat motors for the mostpart & there are'nt scores of people lined up willing to throw £13k,£14k,£15k ( & more ) into them otherwise the car would have sold :(
That said i wouldn't budge too far from where you are , just flirt the grey alloys off as for me they don't work as well as silver against the interlagos :o but that's purely opinion .
"Dubtastic" had a carbon copy car for sale recently for at least 3 months asking £13k (albeit 90k on the clock) , that was a mint car but reality is £11750 / £12k would be more realistic to gain a sale :?
Each to their own but i prefer to pick a figure i want for a car & add a few hundred to it as opposed to £1500 then start dropping in big lumps over a period of months , ultimately the car will sell its about how long you want to wait & we all know the high demand season for these is here now & from next month will begin to fade
Best of luck

Thanks mate, appreciate the info

Cannot believe, this has not sold, even at he OP's now reduced price..

No point sitting on the fence, Guys & Gals.. :o
This must tick a lotta boxes for the serious enthusiast..
PLEASE: Raid the bloody piggy bank, before a Main Stealer, has it away and adds a hefty £3-4+K to the asking figure and keep her within the forum : :tumbleweed:

Cheers and good luck, to the OP..

Matty, I think Easty on here recently sold a red Z4MR for around £15k - he's from Aberdeen as well (as an I). I'm watching with interest anyway as may sell next year depending on funds to move on to an M3 (family duty)

Have you advertised elsewhere?
