Z4MR Hardtop – Interlagos Blue, Good Condition, Cover, Paperwork – £850 ONO

Hi everyone,

Please see for sale my Z4MR Hardtop Roof, finished in Interlagos Blue. It is in good condition, full working order, with the cover, BMW booklets and accessories for installing and uninstalling it. I am based in York. Pics included, further below.

For anyone not familiar: this fits the E85 Z4M Roadster. It is easy to install, essentially: lower fabric roof as normal > lift the hardtop onto the car and locate appropriately (two person job) > lock into place > put small covers in place > done! Once in place it is all weather proof, solid, quieter etc. and with working heating elements in the glass to help with the frost and snow.

This is in Interlagos blue but could be resprayed in you wanted. Naturally, this is a good time of year to purchase, for anyone looking for one, ahead of the winter kicking in.

I have already sold the car that it was with, to someone who did not want the roof. So, I cannot transport the roof elsewhere, which would mean collecting it from me, in York.

In terms of pricing rationale: I have had a look around and there seems to be quite a bit of variability in pricing with them seeming to for anywhere £600-£1,200, from what I can see. Given mine is in good condition and with the paperwork and bits, I think the higher end of that range is fair. I am looking for a quick and easy sale to someone on the forum, so didn’t want to push it too high and felt £850 ONO was a good price.

Thats a really good price - I want a hardtop, but I’m sterling silver and with the cost to respray and collection costs, makes it too expensive for me, but someone will get a bargain - love you have all the accessories.

If it doesn’t sell and its bothering you, PM me, I’d make an offer on it ad could collect it at your convenience - I’d love to stretch the Z4 for a good 400 mile round trip!

Hi there. I am in York and will update my original post with that as well. Unfortunately, as I no longer have the Z4MR that the roof was on, I cannot transport the roof myself, so it would need to be collected.
 
This will not only fit the Z4M, but any E85 that is equipped with the hardtop prep kit :) Nice color by the way :thumbsup:

May I suggest you get a quotation for packing, collection, shipping, taxation and customs clearance from your end, UPS or FedEx would be able to do this, it’s unlikely that a UK seller would want the risk and responsibility.

Thanks solo_the_lad for enquiring and thanks deltasierra for your note. I'm somewhat familiar with dealing with things across the UK and US, after living in the US for a while. Unfortunately, it's an absolute nightmare and has caused me a lot of stress before, so not something I would want to pursue. Sorry, solo_the_lad - I appreciate these hardtops are not easy to come by. Good luck in your search!

Thanks! I appreciate the supportive note :thumbsup: Hopefully it will find a home through the forum soon enough. I think the one challenge is the colour and people needing resprays to suit their car.

Now sold, through the forum. I am now completely Z4-less, but did manage to sell my car and it's parts on here, having previously bought and sold through here, and got various helpful advice along the way. So, thank you all and hopefully I will have another Z4MR one day! :driving:
