Z4MC vs E46 M3 suspension

Hi all,
I just bought a '06 black on black Z4MC...pick up is this friday, so as you probably can guess, I can't sleep
Currently I own an E46 M3 on which I have CSL springs and Bilstein B6 shock absorbers...if my understanding is corect, the Z4 is based on the E46 chassis, so the question really is: will the E46 stuff fit on the Z4 ? I looked on the Bilstein website and the have different part numbers for the 2 cars, but I wonder how different is different :? ... anyone with some insight? Thanks

The front struts mount to the hub carriers in a completely different way on a Z4M compared to an E46 (M3 or otherwise) and are not interchangeable.

The Z4M uses the front struts from the E36 series and the rear based on the E46 with some modifications.

That is way there are fewer mods for these cars. That being said, there are lots of mods for this chassis....

I would recommend driving it for a while first before you start throwing parts at the car.
