Looking good mate

Although I don't get what they've done with the newer nav screens, just looks odd. Great system though.

Nice colour too

I never had the Nav in my last Z4 but this new one is more of a media centre than a Nav unit. Navigation is just part of it! You can even search Google on it and get the weather forecast for the area your in!! :P
I think the new systems are fantastic (the old systems just looked outdated).

Its there fitment in the 1's that looks weird - was a lot better as a pop up screen. Would have looked better doing it like they do in the 3/5 series.

Would love to have the new nav/i-drive in mine though. So its an envy criticism too! :D

Funnily enough I really like the rear lights - they are LEDs and look 8) when lit up , and the front's too provided they are xenon's :)

The new idrive is great, like breaker said its more of a media centre and makes the old one in my M feel very dated.

Senwar - I know what you mean, it doesn't look as integrated as in the 3/5 series, but I wanted it over the older popup one as the functionality is a lot better and still think it looks ok IMHO

pvr - I'm keeping the 123D badge, when its remapped in a couple of weeks with 250bhp/500Nm it will give a few 'more powerful' cars a surprise or two

I believe in diesels ... In Germany, I overtook a Passat diesel and the bugger stuck very close to me up to about 140 mph. I did not change out of 6th, but was very impressed though.

HI

I do like these cars

and i looked into buying one and had a full day test drive.

only got 36Mpg and much much less on the motorway at 80mph ish

So they are not as good as people say imho, I don't get why you would want to remap it to get more boost if Mpg was the reason to change from the Mcoupe

I gave mine back to the dealer and said no thanks to expensive for not much mpg.

I like

Reminds me of the e30 325i 8) (and that's a GOOD thing).

Must admit that the price of fuel tempts me in this direction rather than a new Sdrive 35.

Nice car and definately the best colour. It will only ever be a 'nice car' though. Nothing special and not standing out from the crowd. Having recently been out in a mates 123d, it confirmed what I already knew, in that a 123d would not get anywhere near pretty much any M car, let alone a Z4M. People who move on from a Z4M should really accept this instead of trying to justify it saying 'in every day driving conditions......' etc.
I unfortunately am having to sell my Z4M due to a change in circumstances. I would definately own one again, as the extra cost of owning one over normal cars, represents fantastic value IMO.

Well, they must all be different - I've averaged 40mpg since I've had it and that is using the power/torque. If I drive like a granny I can get 52mpg on my 15 mile drive to work - but its painful to do so, so I don't. On a 150 mile motorway run last week at 80+ I was seeing 43mpg.

Mpg wasn't the main Reason for me anyway, it was comfort for my bad back - and on that front it delivers as I'm not in the constant pain I was in the Z4MC.

I think you'll find in my post I said it is no M car. I totally accept this, as it is the main reason I changed it. I've never tried to compare it's performance, but it is fast enough for me in the conditions that I normally drive in, far more comfortable and a pleasant place to be.

I never intended this to be a 'my new diesel is better than my Z4M thread', I was just posting to show people what I'd bought and explaining my reasons for doing so :)

Fair enough Mark, like I said, nice car. My other comments were aimed more at others on here (not bullshitting or whatever he's called as I wouldn't give him the time of day).

Lovely car, nice colour and some great angles...like the front especially.

You've clearly had some tasty metal too, which supports my view that this decision, which might seem a bit 'off the wall' to some, is that of a true afficionado.

I'm sorely tempted.....(although I'd have to keep the roadster!)
