2006 56-plate BMW Z4M Coupe. Sapphire black, black leather, leatherweave dash. 89.7k miles. £15,400 ono.

I've owned for ~6 years and 2 previous owners.

Excellent service history with 12 stamps in total including a run-in service at 1009 miles, mostly BMW maindealer but I took the car to proper M specialists for the inspection 1 and inspection 2 so I know it was done right. e.g. they provided the old valve shims from the adjustments they made. Fully stamped history booklet with a stack of supporting paperwork and receipts for servicing and parts.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres on all corners, one new front tyre last month due to a puncture. New OE Valeo starter motor this Spring due to a "dead spot" in the windings (and a new 5-year Bosch battery too as i initally misdiagnosed the problem why it wouldnt try to crank). New front droplinks last month to fix a clonk.

2 keys. Documentation for a tracker but I dont currently have it enabled.

The interior is in excellent condition with minimal wear to leather. The paint is in good condition with usual stone chips on front end but nothing out of the ordinary.

The car was previously listed for sale here with a few performance parts that have now been removed as no- one wanted it and came to view :(

NOTE: i've had a lot of messages on this forum and from my previous autotrader ad to buy the performance parts that I have removed. In the interest of fairness, i will give the person that buys the car first dibs and then start a new thread here offering them for sale, and then to ebay.

i got old and a bad back so bought a 6er to replace :O Buy it now before it gets SORN'd and tucked up in the garage!

Oooo, love to hear your thoughts on the 6 as I'm viewing one on Sunday!

Good luck with the sale. Those coupes look better with each passing year.

Cheers!

I've had the 640d since January and its been awesome. Ditching the runflats makes a huge difference to ride quality and noise. I searched out one with the most plush interior spec I could find and it even makes the commute feel like an event. It's quick and handles well allowing for the size and weight and is a rewarding husttle through dreary traffic. If i was buying again i'd give serious thought to the petrol as the real MPG is probably not that much worse on shorter blasts and you wouldnt have the risks of running a big-diesel for the long run.

Sorry for the delayed response. I’ve been on holiday. The car is SORN now but please message me if you want to exchange numbers to talk about the car or come and take a look.

I am in the market of MC and MR, is it sold already otherwise I am not far from you, please let me know cheers

I am terrible at selling cars. now my 3rd year listing to sell it but it really needs to go as ive decided what will come next and ive made my peace with it going.

The car was due an inspection 2 late last year and a bit off-putting for people wanting to buy. Last month I did the valve clearances myself with 6 shims out of spec and changed. I have the old shims that I swapped out, a full report of meassurements for all valves before and after, and some photos taken along the way. I changed the spark plugs while I was there with the correct BMW badged NGK items and new air filter, cabin filter etc. New rear brake pads as that was an MOT advisory. 2 weekend ago the drivers window mechanism jammed and I bought and fitted a lifter mechanism repair kit that has fixed.

Now crossed over 90k miles.

£15400.
