Z4MC Ruby Black £14500

Sorry for the late replies. I was in the natural habitat of the Maybach (Moscow) and couldn't get a stable wifi.

First I'll address the post that's now disappeared relating to PX for an X5. Yes I'm looking to change to a 4wd but I dont think I can go quite so sensible! I love the z4m so am looking for the next closest thing that ticks all my boxes - an Audi RS4 B7. Now form an orderly queue to spit on me...

Replying to mr Wilks - it's a funny market certainly with those willing to make a move being the ones that can capitalise on some very attractive prices. The same goes for houses - now is the time to sell and upgrade (as I just did!).

I'm fairly sure pricess will recover again in the coming years but since RS4 B7 prices seem to move in sync with z4m (give or take) I'm less concerned about selling the Z now since, ceteris Paribas, I'll be on an even keel.

I'm sure it was Bg so thanks. However I'd be taking that only to sell it on and then get an RS4. If you have any joy selling it in the meantime let me know and I'm sure we can work something out.

In the meantime I've had some enquiries suggesting that at the price mine is too good to be true. It's a genuinely good car at a very competitive and (hopefully) realistic price. I'm more than happy for people to come and see it, test drive it, have inspections or do a whatsapp video call of the car.

I can't believe the car hasn't sold yet.

I would be interested but I'm really looking for a Z4M roadster.

My only criticism is the quality of the pics and the background you have taken them in. Might be worth changing the pics?

Good point MKZ. I had been looking at the market and saw the 20k z4m thinking it looked damn good. Then realised it was mainly down to the photos (and some minor photo manipulation). Next dry day I'll do another photo shoot (this may not be any day soon!)

Just saw your second post... I'm the fourth owner having owned it for over four and a half years.

Deposit now taken. Thank you everyone for input, encouragement and positive comments.

It's a genuinely good car and the new owner will hopefully appreciate it as much as I did.

I have a B7 RS4 Avant that I used as a daily driver along side my ///MC when I lived in the UK. They’re great cars and definitely faster cross country on broken tarmac than the Zed.
My advice would be to look for one that has had the clutch replaced (or is of relatively low mileage) and has plenty of life in the front discs, since both are very expensive consumables. Also, check for corrosion around the oil cooler pipe work behind the front bumper.

Thanks Mike. How long has your z lasted stock?

Bmwz4mc - I'm looking at cars with roughly 60k miles on them. Not ultra low by any standards but fairly good for what's now a 13 year old car. It seems like most of the car is fairly bullet proof but consumables can be eye watering as you say. 1k for a pair of discs! That's being said I'll likely keep it for a few years at least and maybe end up sticking a crate EV in it 5 years down the line...
