Not the best pictures to do it justice, only from my phone but very happy with the way its come up ... the car is beginning to get to my standards !

What did the correction process involve and costs?
I'm considering the same for mine as it has a nasty flat spot on the boot.
Great results

i can see some holograms on the top section of the front bumper... that needs further refining. Take some pics directly on the car not from the side angles it won't show anything, from what I'm seeing so far, he may need to have another crack at this.

I think those holograms are clouds.

Nice job, those marks on the wing were pretty horrific...do you have a cat who likes to climb on the car? Keen to learn on what was the process, products used to cut and what did you decide on for protection?

BeeDub - do you have a pricing list/guide for Z4's..? Might make sense for you and the forum to get a view on the pricing for certain things. *I appreciate it's always difficult to do without looking at a car.

Beedub.... it’s not perfection I’ll admit . In the past I’ve had it done to what I call perfection to the tune of £850 in ceramic ... but no matter how careful you are cleaning the car ( pre rinse , 2x snow foam , 2 bucket , pure water , blower ect ) you always will put marks back in the clear coat ! So I’m loathed to spend that sort of money ! I’ve found a local company ( 2 enthusiast chaps who do it for extra income ) who do it at a very reasonable cost and very good standard in my opinion . I’m happy with it

Yeah i will do some bits in the service section shortly , my website shows some pretty detailed stuff on what i do in this section. Also working with G-tecniq now    Personally tho, i love a good wax. I'm also using rupes machines (rotary) and polishes and it really is the difference in the finite detail IMO anyway. If anyone wants some info hit me up over in the services section and we can talk further, i specifically don't do the business touting as i believe its banned in the normal sections.

Sorry didn’t realise you did this for work

That’s what these chaps use ... rupes and also the ceramic they used was gtechniq ... I’ve also had ( and have a bottle ) of siramik ... which i think is better than the gtechniq stuff but I’ve been told it’s very hard to work with .

i do... and very proudly so , amongst other things. You got a great deal.

That's some nice work done there! Can I ask which town or county are these detailers based in? I have a midnight coupe also and similar markings, so I have been on the lookout for ceramic and detailing specialists. If they've made yours shine like that then I would be just as happy as you if they did my car.

Cheers

Theres a guy i know in West Yorkshire who works on the car all day,he works from home in his garage, and measures thickness of paintwork before he starts......the paint work in the first pic is the same in the detailed finish below it,he charged £150 cash

..... but can’t be bothered and don’t have the time ! So would rather pay someone else to do it .

If someone quoted me £150 ... I’d walk away if I’m honest . The ceramic alone cost quite a bit , let alone all the pads/compounds ect ect .... and it’s a proper skill to do it properly. Mr £150 ruins it for the proper details

He is a proper business and well known, he just has no overheads as he converted his Double garage into a Detailing workshop

Ive been down the expensive(specialist prices) and he is up there with them, and you cant guarantee quality just because you pay more money unfortunately.

Anyway i only put it forward for people in the area
