Hi Guys,

Took delivery of my new "toy" on 27/01/2011 and been loving it ever since. It was standard to the bone but that didn't last long. A few mods done and more to come... The best mod done by far is the Gruppe M air filter which really brings the car to life and sounds soooo awesome.

Hey you've got seat heating at least, like you need it!! :lol:

Where did the car come from and who on earth spec'd heated seats in your part of the world?!

Hey there, the car came from UK. Wonder if the previous owner is in this forum? I'll dig out the reg. no. later.

The seat heating is kind of a bonus really. Not many other Z4Ms here have this option!! haha


Also, my DSC function is triggered on or off by just pressing the button. I've read somewhere that pressing and holding the button turns DSC off completely but it doesn't do anything on my car. Or maybe this is only applicable to the E46s?

Ah that it explains it then! Out of interest is that the only way to get a Z4M in Malaysia - do BMW not supply them there?

I think that's only standard Z4s (and maybe standard E46s) that have different settings - on the M I'm pretty sure it's just on or off, so pressing and holding doesn't make any difference. To be honest I don't turn mine off as often as I could so someone else should be able to confirm exactly how it works! :thumbsup:

BMW did supply but due to the low demand they didn't bring in many. The used car market for Z4M is also non-existent.

Hence, I imported mine through a friend who runs an import used car dealership. The price he quoted was also too hard to decline. :thumbsup:
