I've decided to sell my Z4M Coupe, its a great car. I have come to love the Z4M dearly in the past 18 months, if I didn't need 4 seats I would never change it, I'm sure I will own one again in the future, but it has to go.

I'm truly gutted; I didn't feel like this when I sold the Cayman S or the Boxster S.

If you're going to state 'no track days' then I'd remove posts about going to the 'Ring - as most buyers would class that as the same thing (although I'd put it closer to a fast day out on Welsh roads) :P

BTW, got any pictures of the Light Sepang interior, as I've not seen that combo with Ruby Black.

I don't see why a gorgeous car like that has had 3 (or 4) owners + less than 20k on the odometer. ?? :?

I realise people can do what they want with their money, but cars are meant to be driven :driving: Sometimes people buy just to own, to have owned such a car. Some fear depreciation and other running costs so it ends up stuck in a garage before soon being sold for something they can afford or feel more justified in driving :sos: Some just want the next best thing that comes onto the market.

I remember this car on pistonheads some time ago being sold I think, dunno if it was the current seller though or a previous owner.

with the first 3 owners during the first 8 months of the car's life.

I wouldn't worry about the number of owners, especially if it was a BMW pre-reg. That spec is very impressive. Ruby black is the best black in my opinion - even if it is red!

I suggest you don't sell but get yourself a 4 seater hack as you will only regret it in a couple of months and you'll have a devil of a job buying another with that spec.

Cars are meant to be driven, that's exactly what I think as well but others would not agree. I average about 16,000km per season (7 months of driveable roads) and another 15k or so on my truck in the rest of the year. Oh well, to each their own. :driving:

I agree with the last post, get a 4 seater hack and keep the Z.

The car looks like a nice one and would be a lot of fun..... :tumbleweed:

There were not many Z4MCs built in RHD in the first place. Many of us are enjoying them as daily drivers and when they are gone, they are gone, there is nothing else like it on the market right now.

Even the 3.0Si is a great every day car but the M is a step or 2 further.

I intend to use mine, enjoy it and then go onto my next passion - whatever that is.

Thanks, your not really helping and at least get your facts right if your going to infer something as an issue :o

It's 3 owners in the first 18 months btw , not 8 months.

The first owner was BMW UK

Darren M,

This car was bought from Oxford BMW, not sold or bought on Pistons Heads, you're mistaken

Have you tried BMW yet? Coupes are still up for good money and looking at the spec it seems to be stock which they'll like!

Agree, definately worth a try. Try BMW Leicestershire, they were hungry for any Coupe;s last year (Si and M's) and I *think* might treat you well on the price. Some dealers however will try to rape you :)

Also, the dealer in LOndon that charges a premium (can't remember the name now).

I was doing the maths - you said you enjoyed the car for 18 months and the car is just over 2 years old ...

Who cares about the number of owners? It could be 14 very very good ones or 1 absolute ***hole. Judge the car on service history and condition?

My car has '3' previous owners including me because the DVLA ****ed up. They put the car in my name with the postcode attached to my surname (?!?!), right address. I sent it back annotated to the hilt saying 'it's still me, DON'T add another keeper!' And what did they do? Add another keeper. So I am the previous and current owner....Before that, the original owner had done 900 miles in 12 months....

PS lovely looking car, only thing I would say is maybe split the 'standard spec' features from the 'options' - a lot of buyers like to see it as presented on the AUC, i.e. with the extra kit listed separately so you can see how many toys it has over stock?

Oh no i can't believe you are selling it! When i saw this on the Yorkshire meet i thought it was absolutely beautiful!

What's the diff on how many owners , the mileage is low and the car is a beaut. and someone, somwhere has to be drooling over it with a pocketful of cash.

IMO you should find some way to keep it ....but .... other pressures sometimes take precedence so now the task at hand is to find it a good home.
