Perhaps some hairdressing products on the roof would be more appropriate ;)

Hi Lee,
You must be old, I haven't had the Sapphire for ten years ;). Thanks for the comments, I do miss the Sapphire, but it was a good job it didn't live, as I think I would have got locked up, as it was a proper hooligan's car (with 515bhp and 420lb ft through just 235/40x17 tyres), encouraging you to drive like a nutter - as evidenced by it's demise .

I find the bimmer to be a bit anodyne - it is just too refined, where the Cossies just have that raw appeal that is a hard drug to kick :). I'm sure you must miss the Trevor for the same reasons?

Anyway, given your newly promoted status, how do I go about booking a sack, crack and back wax ;) :poke: ?

Nice one Mike - great of you to join in, proper garage of cars you have there

You are of course correct, the Z4MC is for hair dressers. Everyone knows the only proper Z4 M is a roadster  :P

You do realise that you're going to vilified by all the Coupe owners now - at least you've taken some heat off me ;). I'll sit back and watch the likes of Lucy call you a chav for making such a jokey comment   .

However, to help you out a bit, I would say although the Z4Ms are hairdresser's cars, the lesser powered models are owned by either girls or homosexuals - and of course I am deadly serious and a post should be started to crucify me for being such a heretic  :fuelfire: .

Yes i am not getting any younger! i remember your saff being absolutely immense as you describe it, it just seemed to power by everyone whenever i saw it, awesome!

I do miss the trevor in terms of its very raw driver appeal...but not its wallet emptying habit!

I will have to practice my waxing techniques before i have a go on you  you popping up on here has brought back some good memories thanks & my bro in law has an e93 m3, the engine sound is special but also very civilised in some ways.

Cheers

You did of course read my sig before posting that - I am now not feeling matey at all as you have just outed me on t'internet :x

Lucy has sadly gone the way of the Porker, a great loss to the Forum ; the roadster vs coupe debate is never ending on here, I can take the heat because I know that deep down they are just crying for attention and a mother's breast to give them succour as they made the wrong choice :P

The Cossies have a habit of doing the same :(.

Tsch, I see that even your brother-in-law is part of the beauty industry  ;). Is he a hairdresser or a beautician like yourself  ?

Just for the memories:

Now would be a good time to tell your parents as well then, although I guess that having seen your car, they already had their suspicions and so won't be too surprised ;).

Don't worry, I class all you Z4 owners the same anyway - to me there is no difference between soft or hard top ;).

Thanks very much for posting up some great memories for me Mike

I couldnt believe it, just as i said my brother in law has a E93 M3 i knew it would make you smile, it seems we just cant escape the hairdresser image

We might have to rethink our next car purchase!!

damn that skylineowners call my car a hairdresser mobile that's one point, but a ford bloke ??

wtf ford sucks, except for the only good that they ever made the original GT40. man i wouldn't even dare to come over to a bmw forum and say i have a ford, it's almost worse then saying you own a vauxhall/opel. :fuelfire:

Have you ever been in or driven a fast one :P ;)?

I'm a BMW owner as well, and can safely say that other than comfort, the shonky Ford runs rings around it :driving: .

Now given you have the girl-powered version of the Z4, I don't think you can criticise ;).
