Z4MC GTR wide body

Hi, Has anyone on here bought a wide body GTR carbon kit for the Z4MC? I am seriously thinking about one for my track car and wondered if anyone had any problems with the kit. I have seen kits offered by Flosmann and Vorsteiner, are they the same, and are there any others? Also the prices seem to vary?
Cheers

Yowzers. You do know you're looking at some serious change for that kind of kit i.e. easily five figures for a full carbon body kit. :o You'd be wanting to keep clear of the armco for sure :D

But yeah, they are pretty awesome:

Madness for casual track racing. I don't know anyione who hasn't run off the track into the grit or soft barriers. That why most modern track going cars have plastic bumpers and wings.n It only £500 to buy and 200 to paint. CF is expensive to buy, very hard to fix, and , actually will not save that much weight (not for body parts). Buy some Cf seats-the electrically adjested one weight 70to 80 kg combined.

Does look rather tasty though.

Thanks for the response guys. The car will be a seriously focused track car, it isn`t road legal being an ex race car GT4 base with additional upgrades. The steel panels do weigh a lot, especially the rear hatch. Try taking off the gas struts and you will see what I mean! Yes I know the glass weighs more than the poly windows too. I don`t want to have a bare carbon look as I want to paint it white, as the car is white anyway, and add the Motorsport colours. I do have a concern that the front airjacks might be in the way of the front fender vents. I see they relocated them on the VLN chassis that is for sale on Racecarsdirect. If I were sticking to GT4 spec I would keep the panels steel, but the carbon route would really make the car IMO.
Cheers

I only know these 2
TC Kline Racing
BMW Motorsport for an estimated € 250,000 (Racing version)

Good luck and keep us posted.

Oh my. That's awsome. And I am not a coupe fan, at all.

That's a pretty serious racing project if you are going to pay so much and then paint such beauty - if you do it then I can't wait for the 'how-to' and accompanying pics

Yes, this is a FRP version we carry:

Well this isn't the dry carbon version it's our race replica version in FRP.

These molds are cast from the original kit used in the Asia GT.

Here's some pics of the Z4 GTR wide body front bumper:

CA Technologies carry the Goke composite version, along with an alternative widebody kit by Slek (not GT).

Looks quite a good kit, not looked into the prices. If I had seen this 2 years ago I would have been tempted, got my kit now from another source in the end. Anyone on here bought one?
