After (2) skills classes, I am taking the Z4MC to the track on July 7th. I am a bit nervous since this will be my first official track day. Wish me luck and I will post pictures if I remember to bring the camera.

48 hrs and I will be at the race track. Very excited about this and have been practicing my braking and cornering on Forza 4

I am back and well rested
I left the daughter up to picture taking duties...needless to say we have a bunch of pictures of other cars, her shadow, some hand bags, and a couple shaky videos.
The car was absolutely phenomenal. I felt extremely comfortable at speed (hit 130 mph on the straight) and did a ton of overtaking of Porsches. Going through the corners was so smooth, the only issue was the operator getting on the gas a little too aggressive and also getting on the brakes a little too aggressive which scrubbed some time off my laps.
I was on the track approximately 1:45 minutes throughout the day and only noticed a little bit of fading from the stock brakes at the end of the day but, that could also be related to operator getting tired. Also, I did approximately 100 miles during the day and used ¾ tank of gas.
