Z4m

Nah, it says that she can drive a manual now. Considering the history, the car has probably been drivable for only a few weeks so that would probably work 8)

Hey - you changed your post so my post makes even less sense than normal

His mum has good taste as well...those Audi TTS`s with the S-Tronic gearbox are pretty good motors from our experience... 8)

I had to laugh though because according to the ad his mum is worried about bending a RWD car(which is already bent) yet she will more than likely understeer into a ditch in the TTS if she isn't careful anyway!

Each time the car appears on PH or AT the forum should flood the sellers inbox with silly questions

Reason for the replacement exhausts is it failed its mot on November 17 for 'major leak of exhaust'.

Funny how it's last mot expired August 19. Guess it must have been off the road, being readied for the sting, not OP's wife's daily drive.

Oops - best not post in case I affect the sellers advert 8)

Orginal exhaust was stolen from salvage IIRC- hence the need for new exhaust. Doesn't bode well if the repairer can't even fit an exhaust!

Someone should post this on the m3 cutters forum if they have a decent account with a bit of rep

There are a few resident coppers who own m3s on there that would be interested and a lot of z4m s get advertised on there too, also there is a guy who works for trading standards that's a moderator.... Lots of people will take serious offence at this morons attempt at selling a cat d car as a genuine car

Best way to spread the word about this fraudster

To all the nasty people that are slating the car. the car is hpi clear because it was never written off due to being reinspected and very minor damage. The owner did not want the car back reason being he wanted to buy a different one. Instead of being cheapskates and paying for a hpi you would know that the car is clear. Also car came with original exuast.
Exhuast was leaking gasses because it needed 2 gasket rings because it came with a aftermarket pipe aswell which we took off and had original put back on. As stated was bought for investment which is true. So stop the conspiracy theories.
everything is true and i dont have to disclose anything because it had a bit of damage why when the car is now perfect. You would not,,
Not one of you sell a car saying previously had a scratch dents bumped my bumper 2 years ago ect.
Also i can assure you the car is excellent and as described and probably in alot better condition then most being sold. Not one of you actually pm.d me asking me information instead just came out with your made up storys.

The car had a brand new wheel and arm replaced the wing so replaced with a new one even though was only scraped with a slight dent the back bumper was perfectly fine just pulled of its clips with a scrape the was not a total loss . So please Get your facts right and stop the lies. Lots of cars on the road including many of yours have had some type of damage in the past and been repaired without people knowing.
People that will slate this car are keyboard worriers and jelousy or just nasty people. So your lieing saying car is a cat d makes you the dodgey one and a liar. Maybe instead of making it a big thing you could of asked me first on a pm.

I feel dissapointed that people are quick to judge thats the problem with the world today..
I have used the forum for a long time as its good for information as i have had a z3 and a z4 3.0 in the past but unfortunately theres always a handfull of people that bring it down.

So do you think spinning a story of it being your mums car bought for investment etc is honest when in fact you put it up for sale here 2 days after it passed the MOT following it's rebuilt? And do you think that knowing the car had suffered quite significant damage and has been repaired that it's right to hide that? The original thread on the damaged car shows it was quite an impact - not just a few bumper scratches. Even suggested the chassis would need to see a jig! IF you had posted up that you bought the car with the intent to restore it to it's former glory and posted up what you had done to the car to ensure it's 100% again so that buyers could be confident it has been repaired properly then maybe you would get some respect. But come on, it failed the 1st MOT because the exhaust wasn't fitted properly. How are we supposed to trust that everything else has been done with love and care?
Also... your advert says "wheels like new" when it fact it should say that some of them ARE new - for obvious reasons!

Nasty z4-forum, alerting its members to a potential bargain z4m that's only been written off once!
It shows how easily you can get suckered into something that is not all that it seems...
Regards

Would it be fair to suggest we change the subject of this topic to include the reg plate for googling purposes? I think it's only fair we allow any potential (non-forum) buyer the ability to discover some history.

It seems plausible the car is in a perfectly acceptable working state despite the seller's lies attempting to make easy money, so possibly saleable, but i think it's important to give the opportunity for people to find out about the seller and car history (before this particular seller, for example, it would of been well looked after by FR08MEE and definitely a car you might buy..)

just my two pence.

I have reposted the advertisement here for future reference of any potential buyers should they wish to research and see how the car was advertised
They can make their own judgement in light of the content of the thread and other thread indicating the vehicle was sold for scrap.

What worries me is if there is no record on the HPI, how can you find out about it.

In the original post from the previous owner it states it was written off by the insurance company. Now it is repaired and advertised with HPI clear. How does that reconcile?

That's what I've just been looking into. Clear or not I don't agree with what the OP did
