I was looking at these on Ebay, will they fit my 2006 2.5si? At the moment it has 16" which look rather lost!

I did a search on offsets etc but couldn't find a definite confirmation :)

Thanks, Paul

Just fit the correct size tyres - the M tyre profile is 5 bigger front / rear - 45/40 instead of 40/35. You will get rubbing on the wheel arches when driving with gusto!

Price wise, for a good set I'd go to about £350 without tyres, if you get near that I'd buy them and split, sell the tyres either on eBay or PH... that's if none of the M owners on here want them. Those look like a good set.

I assume oyu have an SE instead of a sport, but even then I thought they came with 17" rims

It is an SE and came as standard with 16"s, far too small!

I checked the seller's questions and someone else had asked if they would fit a non-M. He replied that they would stick out about 3cm due to the different offset. They're up to £410 already though so will be too pricey for my budget :(

I paid a lot more than £400 for mine  With each tyre costing around £150, and having 7mm and 5mm tread, they are a bargain imo. Look very good, and will probably go for north of £650 imo

Worth getting as i loved mine

Hi, I have recently bought a set of M series 18" wheels for my 2004 2.2 L. As above they have the "wrong" size tyres on, which luckily .........were knackered! Checking with BMW they said the 18" MUST be fitted with the correct sized tyres as per the sticky lable in the door well. As such I have ordered Falken 452's to be fitted. 225/40/18 for the fronts and 255/35/18 for the rear. these will replce the 16" originals............when the weather gets better. I may keep the 16" for the winter, especially as they have conti runflats that have only done 3k miles
