Z4M wheels and tyres. (NOW SOLD!)

Just refurbed my original set so I'm thinking of selling the second set I bought. Been on my car 1 year, had been on a members Z4MC before that. 3/4mm left on the rear tyres 5/6mm on the fronts. very evenly worn. One small kerb mark on a rear, couple of tiny stone chips and a couple of marks in the rear wheel holes where socket has caught the paint. Always cleaned with car shampoo then rim waxed so never seen alloy cleaner goo. Hence in good condition. Only set I've seen so far for sale recently are £1,000 on Pistonheads :cry: They better be good. :) I'll ask £500 for these and see what the response is, not overly bothered if I don't sell them. See what you think.....

They look very clean mate and that small scuff mark will hardly be visible when the wheels get a bit dirty. Perhaps at that price you might tempt other BMW drivers too, also try posting on Pistonheads perhaps. Best of luck with the sale :thumbsup:
 
What about sticking a set of winter tyres on them and using them for a bit then next winter too?
 
Mike as I say, not too bothered about selling them but they were cluttering up the garage which her indoors wants converting to a gym :o Nice mod to any Z4, where's Woots? I've heard he's in need of an extra couple of inches :)

Used it to clean the wax off the new wheels before I stuck the little 'M' badges on.

Yes the 'M' wheels will fit onto any Z4 ( see Spud's pics above).

Aye. Just make sure you fit regular Z4 rear tyres (255) NOT the larger M size, and all will be fine.
 
i must say im really tempted. Its just i would have change the tyres to have them on my 3.0, so i would be looking at closer to £800 to get them on the car.....shame.

Not sure TBH, both 18 inch wheels and non run flats. Spud will be able to tell you that.
 
There's only a small difference between the 18" M tyre sizes and the 18" non-M tyre sizes, so I'd think you could probably run on the tyres on them until you need to change down the line.

The M sizes are 225/45r18 and 255/40r18 compared to 225/40r18 and 255/35r18.
