Wow. Exactly the same as mine (aside from the fancy intake) except it is 5 grand more expensive! Maybe I'm aiming too low?

I was actually thinking "Wow, prices have shot up in the last few weeks". That's Coupe money.

Prices for Roadsters do seem to be on the up. I’ve always thought the gap between them and the Coupe is a little silly.

I don't get the whole turn a Roadster into a tin top. They look pretty but a Roadster makes more sense to me.

Depends on what you like. We had a mk3 MR2 roadster for 7 years, probably used it top down about 4 times.

Hence this time we went for a coupe.

I get that. When i was deciding on mine i picked a coupe because of the rarity and the looks. Sometimes when out on a drive i think that it would be more fun with a roadster but when i park, step back and look at it i still think it's gorgeous so i've not regretted it

E85s and E86s were designed at the same time to be Roadster or Coupe. What I can't understand is why people buy a Coupe with the rigidity of a roof chopped off - E46 M3s and 911s spring to mind!

Anyway back on topic that looks like strong money to me.

It says it has had the con rods upgraded... at 40k been on here years and it's not a well discussed item. Wonder why? Or do you think he is mistaken with another common wear item like the bearings or "conrod bearing shells"

Forged rods are expensive and would assume cost a lot to install too unless im mistaken is it not a top end rebuild?

Interested and happy for someone to tell me im mistaken!
