Posting this in the hope that it will save someone some time.
If I key my registration number into any of Black Circles, Tyres on the Drive or Kwik Fit (not that I would actually buy anything from the latter) they all say that the the size for the fronts is 225/40 R18.
So on that basis I ordered a couple of Goodyear F1 Assymetrics from my local tyre place. Get there this morning, wait my turn in the queue and am then told that mine should be 225/45 R18. Indeed that is what the current tyres are and that is what the plate on the door says, but obviously I didn't look at them!
Worth getting of your bum and looking at your car rather than trusting websites! :x
