Just going to put this out there......... 4 wheel drive is a bit boring.!!!!

run for cover :poke:

+1.

Also, as some one else mentioned and having driven several very tuned up Audi's, the B7 RS4 & R8, are about the only Audi's I would ever condenser owning.

Good hunting.

Cheers Mr Wilks  . Think I will wait a bit longer and go for a 650i as they are supposed to be more reliable!

I had a play with a M3 in my old Cerbera and it impressed me very much and I have always lusted after one ever since...although I have read a few posts of owners really wanting one but then when Ihad one they were left a little disappointed by it, I would still like to try one though. :driving:

Corrected that for you Lee ... :P
I think you know me better than my mrs!!

I looked at a few when hunting for my current Z4. But in the end, the rarity of the zed and lack of need for 4 seats made my coupe a no brainer.

I like the RS4. The noise, power, understated looks etc all make it a winner.

Did I mention the noise

Are BMWs completely out? I am assuming your looking for 400BHP+? 4 Doors....? 20K?
Ive looked at the e90 m3,but it doesn't excite me as much as the rs4,did consider an m5,but again, just doesn't do it for me,I like the m6,except for the fugly rear end,but its to long for my garage, the rs4 only just fits, will need to be very careful reversing in.
Also ive never owned an audi,& this is my 2nd bmw,owned an e46 m3 from 2005 -2008.
Would love a c63 amg merc, but I fear the running costs would sour the experience.

Hi Obikaii, agreed with the points you made about the m cars. The M5/m6 are (e60) are lovely when gunning it but hard work day to day because of the gearbox. A car which I believe is good value is an Alpina b5, (e60) maybe a little boring but I'd recommend going to see one in the flesh....500bhp 700nm torque. I have had the chance to drive one, they are sedate but move like a rocket! Also.....XFR....considerably cheap to run for 510bhp. E.g. Brake discs and pads are that of an RS4...

Not too keen on the interior of any jag, love the idea of a supercharged v8 though, but an xfr is not for me.
Will take a look at the Alpina b5,that wasn't one I looked at.
For me the rs4 ticks most of my boxes going forward, just wish I had more time with the z4m,but thats the way it goes sometimes.

Keep the M and get a family wagon! no other car gives you so much drama for the money (in a good way!)
